Everything thing was really good. It all came out together. It was all nice and hot. Very tasty, not bland. We tried lengua, and maybe 3 other types of tacos and all were great. Service was great as well. Prompt, and always smiling. Good location. Nice traditional looking restaurant.
I have traveled around the world and I always come back to Los Comales for the best tacos especiales. The sauces they keep on the table the seasoning and the pickled carrots make it some of the best and cheapest tacos. Get an order of cebollitas for some serious flavor on the side. The tacos are small but filled with good stuff. I wish more places made tacos this good. The staff is incredible and they remember a face. Even if I only get to get these tacos yearly now. Incredible location that now has a drive thru. One day they will start serving beer and I’ll move in but until then go for the incredible food and authentic atmosphere. Viva Mexico.

I decided to try a new restaurant while out and about. I went to Los Camales in Elgin. I was warmly greeted by Rosa who took my order. She helped me decide since I am a recent vegetarian. This was very difficult because I saw all the meat orders getting delivered. I ordered the torta which still was delicious. The horchata was very good and not overly sweet like some others. I was checked out by Tanela who allowed me to practice Spanish. My experience there was fantastic and encourage people to get it a try!
We ate at the restaurant and then took 10 tacos home. However, for over 3 per taco, the tacos served at the table had more meat then the ones to go. It's get a little expensive.
This place is a great place to go if you are looking for some good tacos! We came here on a Tuesday where they sell some certain tacos for 1.39 each, we got 15 tacos and only payed 22 dollars! This place is great, the food is good as always and the atmosphere is very lively, if you are in Elgin or in any of the surrounding cities, please come here!!!
